This piece was an exercise in trusting the process. I had no clear vision of the final outcome — just the instinct to keep adding, stepping back, and refining. Until, finally, everything fell into place.

I’ve always been fascinated by figs and pomegranates — their interiors glistening like gemstones, as if they were never just fruit, but treasures waiting to be unveiled. Like heirlooms, they carry history within them.

I wanted to build on that feeling — to create something layered, lush, and evocative of something timeless.

I wanted to weave in the richness of Indian craftsmanship, bringing in the tactile elements of silky drapes, smooth wood, delicate flowers, and lustrous brass.

The composition came together like assembling heirloom pieces — each element carefully chosen to elevate the sense of splendour, layering textures and traditions into a timeless whole.
